Medical management for hair loss can involve various treatment options, depending on the underlying cause of hair loss. It involves various pills,-hair growth supplements, vitamin D, calcium, biotin, topical/oral minoxidil as well as finasteride & dutasteride tablets.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

Involves use of the patient’s own blood plasma that has been processed using centrifuge to separate platelet rich plasma. The concentered PRP is then injected into the scalp at targeted areas where hair loss or thinning is present. Multiple treatment sessions may be recommended to achieve the best outcomes and treatment is often used in combination with other hair restoration techniques.

GFC (Growth Factor Concentrate)

A platelet derived growth factor (PDGF) in tubes in which patient’s own blood is collected and then centrifuged. The GFC is then injected into the scalp at targeted areas where hair loss or thinning is present.
